The Tenth International Conference on Mars will be held in the Beckman and Ramo Auditoriums, located at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), 1200 E California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91125. Poster sessions will be held outside on the Beckman Auditorium Lawn and surrounding areas. The address for Beckman Auditorium is 332 S. Michigan Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91106.

Lunch

Numerous restaurant options are within a 15-minute walk on Lake Avenue, Colorado Boulevard, Del Mar Avenue, or the Caltech Campus. Light refreshments can be purchased from on-campus vendors during morning and afternoon breaks. There may be long lines, so plan accordingly.

Parking

We recommend getting transportation to/from Caltech or carpooling. Due to recent construction, parking is very limited on campus, and there is no close off-campus parking. Rideshare to/from campus is strongly recommended for all attendees. We recommend using the Beckman Auditorium address (332 S. Michigan Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91106), not the Caltech general address on California Blvd.

Ride-share options such as Uber and Lyft can be accessed via their apps. Walking is also an option if you stay at the Westin or Hyatt (approximately 1.5 miles, 30–40 minutes).

If you need to park at Caltech, spaces are available in the North Wilson Parking Garage (#1, on Wilson Blvd., just south of Del Mar Avenue) and California Blvd. Parking Garage (#3, south of campus/California Ave., under the Athletic field), as shown on the parking map. Paid parking is available between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PDT (free outside these hours). Conference attendees must purchase a parking pass for $9.00 per day or $27.00 per week, and permits may be purchased from the automated pay stations in each parking garage.

Visitors can only park in unmarked/unlabeled stalls. Parking is not permitted in spaces identified as "carpool" or reserved for an individual or department. JPL employees can park on campus for free with their JPL parking tag (regular or colored-coded JPL parking tag). However, since parking is limited, we strongly encourage carpooling, parking elsewhere, parking at JPL, and taking a JPL-Caltech shuttle. A relevant parking permit is required to park on the streets within the Caltech perimeter (Holliston, San Pasqual, Chester, and Michigan).
