Additional Conference Policies

These policies are in addition to those listed within the Code of Conduct (on the workshop Home page), Information for In-Person Participants, and Information for Remote Participants. To request additional accessibility accommodations or ask for more information, please contact the conveners at [email protected].

Video and Audio Recording

  • As mentioned under Workshop Format, to share discussions with the broad community, all plenary activities (i.e., overview presentations and full group discussions) will be live-streamed and recorded for public posting during and after the workshop. Participation in these discussion periods by registrants is an agreement to be included in these recordings. Participants should share only non-export or otherwise controlled information during these activities.
  • Small group discussions will only be accessible to registered participants and should not be recorded.

Social Media Sharing and Press

  • Blogging is encouraged to help provide extended social media coverage of the workshop and share information with people interested in the conference content but unable to attend. Blog, post, and tweet highlights of the conference should use the official conference hashtag #PlanetInsitu22.
  • Journalists and public information officers are welcome to attend. They do not require advance registration but are asked to identify as Press upon entering the workshop. A Press sticker will be added to your workshop badge. As a professional courtesy, members of the media are asked to discuss any research of interest with the authors before publishing stories regarding their work to ensure that authors’ works are accurately represented and cited.

In case of Issues

  • Anyone experiencing or witnessing behavior that constitutes an immediate or severe threat to public safety is advised to call 911 (general emergency services).
Note: All electronic submission forms are part of the Meeting Portal, which requires users to set up a personal profile to access our electronic forms (setting up a profile is quick and easy, requiring only a few minutes of your time).
