Oral and poster presenters will have the opportunity to test and become familiar with the RingCentral Meetings virtual platform prior to the meeting.

Oral Presentations

Pre-Recorded Oral Presentation Instructions

Oral presenters will submit a recording of their full presentation that will be available in the online program one week before the meeting for the community to review in preparation for the live panel discussion during the meeting. The total duration of pre-recorded presentations is 15 minutes.

Moderated Q&A Sessions for Oral Presentations

Oral presenters are asked to give a 3-minute lightning talk at the beginning of the live oral session to highlight their pre-recorded presentation. In preparation, provide a presentation file (up to three slides [1 title slide, 2 content slides]) in PDF format. An assigned moderator will manage the presentation files to avoid sharing delays.

Poster Presentations

E-Poster Instructions

To submit an e-poster:

  1. Log in to the abstract submission page of the meeting portal: https://www.hou.usra.edu/meeting_portal/abstract_submission/.
  2. Next to the listing of your Planetary Data 2021 abstract that was assigned to a poster session, you’ll see an E-POSTER link in the Action column.
  3. Click on this link to go to the e-poster upload page.
    • All e-posters must be submitted in PDF format.
    • The maximum file size allowed is 10.0 MB.
  4. After using the browse button to locate the file containing the e-poster on your computer, and acknowledging the copyright statement, click the “Submit” button once and wait for the confirmation screen.
  5. To find a particular abstract, use the abstract search function. Those with e-posters will have an additional link in the search result to view the associated poster.

If you discover an error and need to replace your file, return to the abstract submission page of the meeting mortal and click on the “E-POSTER” link that appears next to the title of the abstract you submitted.

Moderated Q&A Sessions for Poster Presentations

Poster presenters will have three minutes to introduce their posters using a maximum of two slides. An assigned moderator will manage poster lightning talk slides to eliminate the time it takes for presenters to share their screens. Send lightning talk slides pdf file to [email protected] no later than June 21, 2021.
