Meeting Format

The meeting will now consist of 5-minute virtual presentations followed by ten-minute discussion, questions, and suggestions. Each presentation will be limited to 4 to 5 PowerPoint slides. The goal is to discuss progress on NASA-funded geologic mapping projects in order to identify and mitigate problems that the community of planetary mappers is facing, including the preparation of Findings for MAPSIT and NASA Headquarters Program Officers. Status reports will be given by the USGS Planetary Geologic Mapping Coordinator and the NASA HQ Program Officer overseeing mapping on the status of the mapping program. The organizing committee welcomes ideas for a “virtual social” after the 3-hour meeting.

Note: All electronic submission forms are part of the Meeting Portal, which requires users to set up a personal profile to access our electronic forms (setting up a profile is quick and easy, requiring only a few minutes of your time).
