The Planetary Geologic Mappers Annual Meeting will be held June 12–14, 2018, at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Purpose and Scope

The annual Planetary Geologic Mappers meetings are held to allow geologic mappers of funded NASA geological mapping projects or other mapping projects to present the status of mapping efforts and obtain guidance for map process, formatting, submission, and technical review.  Attendance by scientists and students interested in cartography, geological mapping, and map-related topical science is encouraged.

Schedule

Tuesday, June 12  Oral and poster presentations, community discussion, and presentation on GIS updates with Q&A
Wednesday, June 13 Oral and poster presentations, community discussion, and opportunities for one-on-one GIS Q&A
Thursday, June 14  Optional field trip to observe the geology of the Appalachian Mountains region
