Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and hotel reservations.
A block of rooms has been reserved at a group rate of $169.00 per night at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square, 16090 City Walk, Sugar Land, TX 77479. The NASA conference rate is available at $125.00 (Government ID is required). Reservations can be made by using the NASA booking link. Hotel reservations must be made by Tuesday, December 3, 2019 to secure the group rate.
Additional rooms are available at the Courtyard by Marriott Houston/Sugar Land Lake Pointe, 16740 Creek Bend Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77478 at a nightly rate of $149.00. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 281-494-0555 and asking for the International Orbital Debris Conference rate or online using the following booking link. Hotel reservations must be made by Sunday, November 17 2019 to secure the group rate.
Rooms are also available at the Hilton Garden Inn, 722 Bonaventure Way, Sugar Land, TX 77479 at a group rate of $120.00. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 281-491-7777 and asking for the International Orbital Debris Conference rate or online using the following booking link- Hilton Garden Inn. Hotel reservations must be made by Thursday, November 21, 2019 to secure the group rates. Rooms are based on availability.
Parking
There is complimentary self-parking available in Sugar Land Town Square. The hotel has valet parking available for $10 for event and $25 for overnight (subject to change).
Airport Information
The Houston area is service by two major airports: Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) (42 miles from the conference venue) and Hobby Airport (HOU) (30 miles from the conference venue).
Rideshare
Conference participants looking for a rideshare opportunity from any of the airports listed above to Sugar Land, Texas and/or to share rental car expenses can post a notice on the conference rideshare bulletin board.
The bulletin board reside in the USRA/LPI Meeting Portal, so users will need to log into the Portal to view the available listings or to post a message.
Before submitting a post, participants should check the board to see if there are any current posts that match their specifications. To contact the poster, simply click on the name to the left of the listing.
Individuals can edit or remove their own posts by clicking on the "Edit" button and then resubmitting the modified post. To remove a post, simply delete the text and then resubmit.
