Hiroshi Takeda (1934–2023): Contributions to Understanding Formation and Evolution of Differentiated Meteorite Parent Bodies (and Wine)
1:45 PM
Pourkhorsandi H.* Debaille V. Gattacceca J. Greenwood R. C. Leduc T. et al.
Tintigny: A Polymict Eucrite from Belgium [#6241]
Characterization of Tintigny, a eucrite that fell in southern Belgium in 1971 and was studied by specialists in 2017.

Mitchell J. T.* Bell A. S. Willcocks F. M. Stephen N. R. Luo B.
A Basaltic Andesite from Vesta: Evidence of a Highly Fractionated Lithology [#6180]
A fayalite, tridymite, Ca-augite clast in NWA 6414 provides evidence of high degrees of fractionation on Vesta and preserves a hitherto unsampled lithology which may be the protolith of the three-phase symplectites observed in howardites.

New Constraints on the Origin of Tridymite in Graves Nunataks 98098 [#6437]
Thermodynamic modeling and geochemical analyses are combined to place new constraints on the origin of tridymite in GRA 98098 and elucidate information about the drivers of early crustal evolution.

Using X-Ray Computed Tomography to Better Understand Diogenite Evolution and HED Petrogenetic Relationships [#6383]
Here we have described the petrology and measured mineral shape preferred orientations in five diogenites in 3D using XCT (X-ray computed tomography) scanning. From this work we plan to conduct geochemical analyses to better understand HED evolution.
2:45 PM
Sheen A. I.* Tait K. T. Di Cecco V. E. Joy B. R. Bray C. J.
Mineral Trace Element Chemistry of Northwest Africa (NWA) 15118: A Unique Anorthosite and Its Relation to Diogenites [#6376]
Incompatible trace element modeling suggests that the parent melts of NWA 15118 and diogenites are not related by fractional crystallization, adding complexities to the "missing plagioclase" problem in diogenite petrogenesis.

Experimental Simulation of Metal-Graphite Textures in Ureilite Meteorites [#6016]
We simulated metal-graphite textures in ureilites with deformation experiments. Our results show that grain-boundary metal and graphite reflect the impact and cooling history of ureilites, with graphite of endogenous and metal of exogenous origin.

Yasutake M.* Matsumoto M. Matsuno J. Tsuchiyama A. Uesugi K. et al.
Internal Structure of Carbon Minerals in Dar al Gani 999 Ureilite [#6145]
We conducted SR-XCT analysis to unveil the origin of carbon material in the DaG999 ureilite. 3D observation reveals the complex occurrence of diamond and graphite. Diamond might have crystallized through multiple stages and/or processes.

Fe, Mg, and Zn Stable Isotope Geochemistry of Acapulcoite-Lodranite Meteorites [#6007]
Here, we for the first time present a comprehensive dataset of mass-dependent δ56Fe, δ66Zn, and δ26Mg values for bulk acapulcoite-lodranite clan meteorites and their fractions.
3:45 PM
Liszewska K. M.* Ek M. Schönbächler M.
Accretion of Silicate-Bearing Iron Meteorite Parent Bodies: Clues from Iron Isotope Variations of IAB Iron Meteorites and Sombrerete [#6291]
We present Fe isotope data of metal and silicate inclusions from IAB iron meteorites and Sombrerete, and bulk winonaites, to verify whether silicate-bearing iron meteorites formed through the collisions of isotopically distinct parent bodies.
4:00 PM
Carli C.* Bruschini E. Cuppone T. Migliorini A. Stefani S. et al.
Brachinites VNIR Reflectance, Same Achondrite Group Connecting S-Type and A-Type Asteroids [#6155]
We investigate the reflectance properties of 12 brachinites and compared them with laboratory data of other brachinites present in the literature and potential parental bodies.

Hamann C.* Greshake A. Hecht L. Jenniskens P. Kaufmann F. et al.
Initial Analysis of the Ribbeck Aubrite Recovered from Asteroid 2024 BX1 [#6418]
Here we report on initial petrographic and geochemical analysis of the Ribbeck aubrites recovered by our consortium after the impact and atmospheric breakup of asteroid 2024 BX1 close to Berlin in January 2024.
