Isotopically Anomalous Insoluble Organic Matter and Presolar Grains in Bennu Samples [#6169]
We report on our search for isotopically anomalous circumstellar grains and interstellar organics in the samples returned from asteroid (101955) Bennu.

Presolar Grains in Bennu: Constraints from C and N Isotopic Compositions [#6188]
Stepped combustion was used to measure the abundance and isotopic composition of C and N in two fine-grained aggregates from Bennu, to determine if Bennu contains populations of presolar grains similar to CI and CM chondrites as well as Ryugu.

Transmission Electron Microscopy Study of Presolar Grains Preserved in Samples from Asteroid Bennu [#6207]
We present here the coordinated analyses of two O-rich presolar grains preserved in samples from asteroid Bennu and use their structure and chemistry to constrain their nucleosynthetic and thermodynamic origins.

Nanoscale Studies of Sulfides and Carbonates in OSIRIS-REx Samples: What Can They Tell Us About Alteration on Bennu? [#6131]
We analyzed fine-powder samples from asteroid Bennu using TEM. We present our findings on sulfides and carbonates, which provide evidence for aqueous alteration at low temperatures and with Na-rich fluids.
2:30 PM
Gainsforth Z.* Sandford S. A. Marcus M. A. Dominguez G. Keller L. P. et al.
Variable Iron Oxidation States in Asteroid Bennu Samples Returned by the OSIRIS-REx Spacecraft [#6213]
We measure variations in the oxidation state of Fe using Fe-L XANES, which can elucidate aqueous alteration conditions of Bennu’s parent body.
2:45 PM
Prince B. S.* Zega T. J. Connolly H. C. Lauretta D. S.
Nanometer-Sized Fluid Inclusions in OSIRIS-REx Samples of Bennu [#6224]
We have identified nanometer-sized fluid inclusions in pyrrhotite in the OSIRIS-REx returned sample. Here, we report results on our attempts to characterize the composition of these inclusions.

Ray S.* McCoy T. J. Corrigan C. M. Connolly Jr. H. C. Barnes J. J. et al.
Texture and Mineralogy of Late-Stage Veins Containing Mg, Na-Phosphates in Bennu Samples [#6233]
Here, we will discuss the multiple stages of aqueous alteration recorded within a Bennu particle.

Ideal-Gas Pycnometry on Pristine Bennu Specimens: Impossible Densities and Possible Explanations [#6116]
We measured unrealistically high grain densities for curation-pristine specimens of (101955) Bennu, an effect not seen in comparable meteorites. We present two working hypotheses to explain these unusual results.

Thermodynamics-Driven Immiscible Fluids Under Microgravity: Interpreting Aqueous Processing and Microstructure Evolution of Bennu Samples [#6111]
Aqueous processing of precursor rocks and evolution of microstructures under microgravity within asteroid's parent body, sample unique chemical pathways. We model aqueous thermodynamics pertaining to the OSIRIS-REx returned samples.

Extraterrestrial Amino Acids and Their Chemical Precursors in a Sample Returned from Asteroid (101955) Bennu [#6070]
We identified ammonia and complex suite of amino acids and amines of extraterrestrial origin in Bennu aggregate samples. The distinct distribution may reflect a unique parent body formation environment, chemical composition, and/or alteration history.

Schmitt-Kopplin Ph.* Liss M. Lucio M. Harir M. Ruchti S. et al.
High Molecular Diversity and Structural Complexity of Soluble Organic Matter Revealed in Samples from Bennu’s Surface [#6089]
The soluble oranic matter extracted from the sample return from Bennu presents a high molecular diversity reflecting a cold hydrothermalist history.

Organic Matter and Nanoglobules in Bennu Samples Revealed by Coordinated UV Fluorescence, SEM-EDX, and Two-Step Laser Mass Spectrometry [#6422]
We report results from the coordinated analyses of Bennu samples that reveal a rich complex reservoir of organic matter (both structured and unstructured phases) dominated by nanoglobules, with evidence of both pre- and post-accretionary processing.
4:30 PM
Nguyen A. N.* Clemett S. J. Thomas-Keprta K. Le L. Keller L. P. et al.

X-Ray and Nano-Infrared Spectroscopy of Organic Matter in Asteroid Bennu Samples Returned by the OSIRIS-REx Spacecraft [#6217]
Nanoscale resolution X-ray and nano-infrared spectroscopy of Bennu samples suggest an intimate interrelationship between aliphatic and aromatic C in Bennu, similar to what was recently reported for Ryugu samples.
