LPSC Early-Career Presenters Help Desk
Virtual: February 2024
Students, post-doctoral fellows, and other early-career scientists preparing to present research at LPSC 2024 are invited to stop by a virtual Help Desk session! Experienced presenters and conference veterans will provide feedback and assistance as you prepare or practice your oral or poster presentations. The deadline to submit oral presentation files and publish iPosters is March 6, 2024.

Virtual sessions:

• Session 1: February 26, 3:00–5:00 p.m. CST
• Session 2: February 28, 9:00–11:00 a.m. CST
• Session 3: February 29, 1:00–3:00 p.m. CST

Optimizing Your LPSC Experience
Virtual: March 1, 2024, 3:00–4:30 p.m. CST
Are you planning to attend LPSC and looking for information on how to prepare? Join the LPI for a virtual, 90-minute seminar that will explore topics like networking, time management, in-person and remote presenting, and more. You'll hear from planetary science experts and LPSC veterans about how to get the most out of the conference experience.

Professional Development and Networking Event
In-person: March 10, 2024, 1:00–5:00 p.m. CDT
Undergraduate and graduate students who are attending LPSC are invited to attend a multi-hour pre-conference professional development and networking event. Participants will interact with peers and experienced planetary scientists as they learn about the variety of careers in planetary science, graduate school and postdoctoral opportunities, diversity in planetary science, successful conference networking strategies, and more. Participation will be limited to the first 30 registrants, sign up today!

Participation is free and travel stipends of $500 will be available to participants who need financial assistance to attend. Stipends are only available to participants currently living in the United States.

LPSC Insights: Get Connected, Stay Connected

Are you a student attending LPSC for the first time? Are you unsure how to navigate which presentations or posters to see? Are you nervous about networking? This mentoring program is for you! First-time student attendees who register for this program will be introduced to an experienced LPSC attendee, and the pair will spend time attending sessions and networking together.
