Airport Information

The Houston area is serviced by two major airports:  Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) (22 miles from the meeting venue) and Hobby Airport (HOU) (40.0 miles from the conference venue).

Airport transportation options are listed below.

SuperShuttle —

SuperShuttle Airport Shuttle Service (800-258-3826) is a nationwide, shared-ride airport shuttle service to and from over 35 airports, including both major airports in Houston. LPSC participants traveling between March 15 and March 29 can receive a 10% discount between either of the two Houston airports and their hotels.

To qualify for the discount, make your reservations using the SuperShuttle LPSC Discount link, or enter the discount code “974KH” on the main SuperShuttle website. Note that the discount only applies to reservations made on the website, and not those made by phone.

Galveston Transportation Service —

Galveston Transportation Service (800-640-4826) provides ongoing transportation to the local airports. Please contact them directly for pricing and mention that you are attending the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference.
