Information for Presenters

Author notification letters will be sent by e-mail to the individual who submitted the abstract. For a quick way to find out the method of presentation and time assigned to a specific abstract, use the author index provided.

Oral Presentations —

Oral presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes per talk:  10 minutes for speaking, and 5 minutes for discussion and speaker transition. (Exception:  Talks given in the Thursday afternoon special session will be four minutes in length, with intermittent 14-minute discussion periods held throughout the session. Specific times of talks are shown in the program.)

Audio-visual equipment provided will include laptop PCs and Macs and an LCD projector. There is no option for dual-screen presentations.

Presentation validation will be in the Alden Bridge Room (note that this is a different room than than last year). Checking in oral presentations is the most important step presenters can take to ensure their presentations are successful. Those presenting on Monday morning should check in their presentations on Sunday evening when they register.

Instructions for Electronic Presentations

In addition to the technical tips given in the above document, whether it’s your first talk or your 500th, we strongly encourage speakers to read the blog written by Emily Lakdawalla following a recent LPSC:
