Program and Presenter Information

The conference will consist of plenary sessions and a poster session. For details, view the program and abstracts. Authors will not receive notification letters, so they should check the author index to see where their presentation has been scheduled.

*Posters will stay up throughout the conference. Poster presentations will be held during coffee breaks, lunch, dinner, and Wednesday afternoon.

Oral Presentations —

A PC and MAC laptop, LCD projector, and speaker remote will be available for presentations during the oral sessions. In order to facilitate a smooth transition between speakers, all presentations will be preloaded and tested in advance. To aid the preloading process, create a folder on your flash drive called “ISSOL 2017” and place your PowerPoint or PDF slideshow presentation in that folder. Please include your last name in the naming of your presentation file.

An IT technician will be available to assist in loading your electronic presentation file during the half hour prior to the start of the session in which you are presenting. Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the session, and wait until you have received confirmation that your file has been successfully loaded to the presentation laptop. IT technicians will be available during the following times:

Before morning session (8:00–8:30 a.m.)
During the morning break
Last 30 minutes of the lunch break (usually 1:30–2:00 p.m.)
During the afternoon break
Last 30 minutes of the dinner break (usually 6:00–6:30 p.m.)

Poster Presentations —

Poster Setup: Monday, July 17, during lunch break
Poster Removal: Friday, July 21, no later than 4 :00 p.m.
Poster Size: 44" × 44" (110 cm × 110 cm)

Any poster remaining after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, will be discarded.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POSTER PRESENTERS: Poster presenters should be at their posters during the last 30 minutes of each evening break (approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.). Poster presenters are also welcome to be present at their poster during all other breaks whenever convenient.
