Meeting location

The conference takes place at the Price Center of the UCSD campus. The map below shows a section of the UCSD campus, with Price Center and Warren Apartments labeled in blue:

Transportation

By plane:  UCSD is 10 miles north of the San Diego International airport. Transportation is available from the airport to UCSD via SuperShuttle, Uber, and Taxi. A discount code for SuperShuttle can be found here.

By car:  UCSD is off Interstate 5. Use either of three exits:  Gilman Drive, La Jolla Village Drive, or Gennessee.

If you plan to park on campus, please be conscientious about parking payments on UCSD campus:  The parking office of UCSD is quick to find vehicles without a valid parking permit, and may issue a fine within minutes.

Accommodation:

Attendees are encouraged to use on-campus housing as it is within a five-minute walk of the conference venue, and is significantly more cost effective than hotels in the area. Additionally, the last two days of our conference overlap with ComiCon in San Diego, and most hotels in the area will be sold out.

If you wish to stay at a hotel, please note that there is approximately a 20-minute walk to the conference venue (along busy streets), and visitors to UCSD often have a difficult time finding their way around campus. Two of the nearby hotels are Estancia La Jolla and Residence Inn.

DINING OPTIONS

The UCSD food courts adjacent to the meeting rooms will be available for lunch. A buffet dinner is included in your conference registration for each evening except Thursday. Attendees wishing to attend the Gala Dinner on Thursday must purchase a ticket during the registration process. It is not possible to revise a registration and add a gala ticket at a later date.
