Airport Information
The Houston area is serviced by two major airports: Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) (69 miles from the meeting venue) and Hobby Airport (HOU) (41 miles from the meeting venue).
The workshop hotel does not provide shuttle service to/from the airports. Shuttles and taxis are readily available upon your arrival at both airports. Should you want to make reservations ahead of time, some options are shown below:
Driving Directions
From Bush Intercontinental Airport —
After leaving the terminal, follow the signs to exit the airport via John F. Kennedy Blvd., then take the Beltway 8 East ramp toward US-59. Merge onto US-59 South toward Houston and proceed for 14.5 miles. Then merge onto I-45 South toward Galveston and proceed for 46 miles. Upon reaching Galveston, take exit 1A (61st Street). Turn right on 61st Street, then right again at Stewart Road (which becomes Jones Drive). Turn right on Hope Boulevard to Moody Gardens.
From Hobby Airport —
Upon exiting the terminal, turn right on Airport Blvd. Turn right at the Gulf Freeway (I-45 South). Merge onto I-45 South and proceed for 35.6 miles. Upon reaching Galveston, take exit 1A (61st Street). Turn right on 61st Street, then right again at Stewart Road (which becomes Jones Drive). Turn right on Hope Boulevard to Moody Gardens.
