Logistics

Dixie State University is located in sunny St. George in the southwestern part of Utah on the Arizona border. Click here for driving directions and parking information. The campus map shows the overall layout of the campus. The meeting will be held in the Zion Room located on the 5th floor of the beautiful Holland Centennial Commons Building, 225 South University Avenue, Dixie State University, St. George, Utah 84770

St. George can be accessed by its own local airport or from Las Vegas, Nevada 120 miles away. The City of St. George website includes information about flying into St. George Regional Airport.

A block of rooms has been reserved for workshop participants at the Courtyard by Marriott, 185 South 1470 East, St. George, UT 84790. The walking distance from the Courtyard to the meeting location (Holland Centennial Commons, 225 S University Avenue) is approximately 1 mile/25 minutes. Workshop participants looking for a roommate to share housing expenses can post a notice on the Fifth International Planetary Dunes Workshop bulletin board using the link below.

For privacy and security reasons, the bulletin board has been moved into the USRA Meeting Portal, so users will need to log into the Portal in order to view the available listings or post a message.

Before submitting a posting, attendees should check the board to see if there are any current postings that match their specifications. To contact the poster, simply click on their name to the left of the listing.

Individuals can edit or remove their own postings by clicking on the "Edit" button and then resubmitting the modified post. (To remove a posting, simply delete the text and then resubmit.)
