15th Planetary Crater Consortium Meeting

The 15th Planetary Crater Consortium (PCC) meeting will be held on August 7–9, 2024, in Flagstaff, Arizona. The meeting is open to planetary and terrestrial scientists interested in any aspect of impact cratering on solar system bodies. We welcome abstracts related to observational, theoretical, experimental, and numerical modeling studies of impact craters on planets, dwarf planets, moons, asteroids, comets, or other solar system objects, and the bodies that can make those impact craters.

The annual meeting is designed to encourage and provide adequate time for an in-depth discussion of crater-related issues and research topics to enhance collaborations. Presentations are typically allocated approximately 30 minutes, with questions during the presentation. Additional discussion time is set aside daily. A primary goal of the meeting is to provide feedback on works-in-progress for students, early-career researchers, and established scientists in a relaxed and friendly environment; discuss potential new avenues of collaborative crater research; and present new work and applications of impact crater studies and related topics.
