Program and Presenter Information

Detailed information about the agenda is available by viewing the program and abstracts. Authors will not receive notification emails. Please check the author index to see where presentations have been scheduled. Authors should also review their names in these products and, if updates are needed, email them to [email protected].

Oral Presentations

All presentations are expected to have five minutes for discussion. Session chairs will give presenters a two-minute warning before the beginning of the discussion period. For a 20-minute presentation, the chair's notice will occur at 13 minutes, the presentation should be concluded in 15 minutes, and the discussion/transition to the next presenter will last for 5 minutes. All presenters must register to receive the login information.

Session Room Hardware and Software

  • PC laptop, LCD projector, and a presentation advancer
  • Windows hardware and software only
  • Note: Mac hardware and software will not be used in the session rooms.


Presentation Software

  • PowerPoint or PDF only
  • PowerPoint slide size: widescreen (16:9)


Virtual Presentation Submission

Virtual presenters will share their own screens and slides. Check the program for the length of your presentation. All slides must be sent to the session chair for backup by 5:00 p.m. PDT the day before the presenter’s session. Presenters must send slides to the session chair for their assigned session. The session chair’s contact information will be provided to the presenters for sending their slides.


In-Person Presentation Submission

To facilitate a smooth transition between speakers, all presentations (in-person and remote) will be collected ahead of time. In-person presentations will be preloaded on the laptop in the room at the venue.


Presentation Submission Deadline: May 13, 2023, noon CDT

  • File Name Format: PresentationTime_LastName
    • Presentation time should be in 24-hour format (e.g., 0830, 1300, or 1415).
    • If submitting an updated file, add the version number to the end of the file name (PresentationTime_LastName_v#).
  • Accepted presentation file format: PowerPoint, widescreen (16:9)
  • Upload slides: https://app.box.com/f/783268b0944c4ceca7544b0ed278df94
    • If your upload is successful, a Success! pop-up will appear on your screen. You will not receive a confirmation email.
    • The upload link to Box is the only acceptable method of presentation submission. No presentations will be accepted via email or memory devices (e.g., USB drives).
    • Reference these Box Instructions for more information about uploading files.


In-Person Oral Presenter Guidelines

  • In-person presenters will not use the laptop at the podium in the room to display slides.
  • In-person presenters will advance their presentation slides using the remote slide advancer (clicker) provided in the oral session room.
  • In-person presenters can choose between a lapel microphone, a handheld wireless microphone, or a Podium microphone.


Poster Presentations

Poster Session May 16 and May 17, 2023, 5:00 p.m. each day

Poster Setup Posters can be hung any time before the poster session.
Poster Removal Upon conclusion of the conference. Posters left behind will be discarded.
