Field Trips and Special Events
There will be one mid-conference field trip, available to everyone who paid a registration fee. The bus will leave from the workshop location at approximately 8:30 a.m. and return in time for dinner. Lunch will be provided.
Participants will visit nearby St. Mary’s glacier and other glaciologic landforms in the front range mountains near Denver. Expert guidance from local scientists will assist in the organization of a one-day workshop field trip.
Guests are welcome to join the field trip for an additional fee of $50.00 per person. Please add your guests at the time of registration.
Social Events
The ice breaker will be held on June 17 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Planetary Science Institute.
The optional conference banquet will be held on June 21 at 240 Union Street in Lakewood, Colorado. We suggest you purchase banquet tickets for you and your guests at the time of registration. Tickets will only be sold at the workshop if space permits.
Several social events are available for attendees on Wednesday, June 20th. (Participants should make own arrangements.)
