Program with Recordings

Program and Presenter Information

Detailed information about the schedule is available by viewing the program and abstracts. Authors will not receive notification letters. Please check the author index to see where presentations have been scheduled. Authors should also review their names in these products and, if updates are needed, email them to [email protected].

Presenter Information
Oral presentations are allotted either 6 minutes (presentation: 5 minutes + questions: 1 minute) or 12 minutes (presentation: 10 minutes + questions: 2 minutes). Please check the program for your assignment as it may differ from your request. All oral sessions are followed by a 12-minute discussion period. During this time, session presenters will join a panel-led question and answer forum.

Oral presentations will be live (i.e., no pre-recorded talks), and speakers will be sharing their own slides. Speakers are encouraged to use a reliable internet connection on the day of their presentations. Presenters will have the opportunity to test and become familiar with the virtual platform before the conference. An email with more information will be sent out at a later time.

Presenters are encouraged to read this article for presentation tips: Speak Your Science: How to Give a Better Conference Talk.

As you prepare your graphics, please keep in mind to use colorblind-friendly elements. Oracle is a free color blindness simulator for Windows, Mac, and Linux that can help select appropriate color palettes. Additionally, please try to avoid rapid GIFs or other videos that may not translate well in a virtual setting and may be triggering to some. Please ensure that presented graphics are high resolution and large enough to be readily seen on a small laptop screen.

Real-time captioning will be provided for oral sessions. We encourage presenters to speak clearly into their microphones and at a speed that best facilitates transcription. Conference attendees will be from various disciplines, so we also encourage speakers to avoid jargon to make their talks broadly accessible.

All presentations will be recorded. Before the conference, a consent email to post presentation recordings will be sent to all presenters. If presenters do not consent, those recordings will not be posted on the conference website.

Note: All electronic submission forms are part of the Meeting Portal, which requires users to set up a personal profile to access our electronic forms (setting up a profile is quick and easy, requiring only a few minutes of your time).
