Program

Detailed information about the agenda is available by viewing the program and abstracts. Authors will not receive notification emails. Please check the author index to see where presentations have been scheduled. Authors should also review their names in these products and, if updates are needed, email them to [email protected].

Important: All oral presenters are required to attend the conference in person. No remote presentations will be allowed.

Oral Presenter Instructions

Oral presentation submission deadline: June 14, 2023, 11:59 p.m. CDT
No presentations or revisions to presentations will be accepted after June 14.

Session Room Hardware and Software

  • PC laptop, LCD projector, and a presentation advancer
  • Windows hardware and software only
  • Note: Mac hardware and software will not be used in the session rooms.


Presentation Software

  • PowerPoint or PDF only
  • PowerPoint slide size: widescreen (16:9)


Presentation Submission

All presentations will be shared from the session room at the venue.

  • File Name Format: PresentationTime_LastName
    • Presentation time should be in 24-hour format (e.g., 0830, 1300, or 1415).
    • If submitting an updated file, add the version number to the end of the file name (PresentationTime_LastName_v#).
  • Accepted presentation file format: PowerPoint, widescreen (16:9)
  • Submission link: https://app.box.com/f/33882504481a4248b4c15da6e5ac0e08
    • If your upload is successful, a Success! pop-up will appear on your screen. You will not receive a confirmation email.
    • The upload link to Box is the only acceptable method of presentation submission. No presentations or revisions to presentations will be accepted via email or memory devices (e.g., USB drives).
    • Reference these Box Instructions for more information about uploading files.


In-Person Oral Presenter Guidelines

  • In-person presenters will not use their own laptops to display slides.
  • In-person presenters will advance their presentation slides using the remote slide advancer (clicker) provided in the oral session room.
  • In-person presenters are required to wear a lapel microphone or use the podium microphone.


Poster Presenter Instructions

In-Person Poster Presenters

In-Person Poster Session June 20, 2023, 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.
Poster Location North Union 1899 Ballroom and Drury Hotel
Poster Setup Posters can be hung beginning on June 19 at noon.
Poster Removal Upon conclusion of the poster session. Posters left behind will be discarded.
Maximum Poster Size 44 in × 44 in (110 cm × 110 cm)

Onsite Poster Printing Opportunity

A local poster printing service is being offered. Posters will be printed at substantially lower costs than local commercial establishments, and volunteers will hang your posters for you! The deadline for submitting posters for printing is June 9, 2023. Important: poster printing is restricted to 42 in x 42 in (106 cm x 106 cm). Do not use black or dark backgrounds. Electronic Posters (E-Posters)

Electronic posters (e-posters) are required for abstracts assigned to an e-poster session. In-person poster presenters are invited to submit an e-poster but are not required to do so.

E-Poster Instructions

To submit an e-poster:

  • Log in to the abstract submission page of the meeting portal: https://www.hou.usra.edu/meeting_portal/abstract_submission/.
  • Next to the listing of the abstract that was assigned to a poster, click on the e-poster link in the action column to go to the e-poster upload page.
    • Accepted file format: PDF
    • Maximum file size: 10 MB
  • Use the browse button to locate the e-poster file on your computer, acknowledge the copyright statement, click the “Submit” button once, and wait for the confirmation screen.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with a direct link to your e-poster.


To revise e-posters (before the deadline only):

  • Return to the abstract submission page of the meeting portal and click on the e-poster link that appears next to the title of the abstract you submitted.
  • Upload the revised version of your e-poster.
