Bystander Intervention Education —

Have you ever been a witness to harassment or bullying and wished you knew how to react and respond in the immediate term to protect the victim of the harassment? This training session will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to respond positively in the future.

Publishing Scientific Papers: A Workshop for Early Career Scientists —
Thursday, 12:00 to 1:00 PM, Montgomery A-C
The Executive Editor Marc Norman and Publisher of Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta will present a workshop on strategies and mechanics for publication of scientific research papers. The workshop will be open to anyone but will be aimed primarily at early career researchers including students. Topics covered will include: how to select the right journal, planning and writing your paper, how the peer review process works, and common pitfalls to avoid. The Editor will also be giving tips on how to give your paper the best chance of getting accepted into a high profile journal such as GCA.

Roadmaps to Ocean Worlds (ROW) Town Hall —
Thursday, 12:00 to 1:15 PM, Shenandoah
Currently, the ROW team has developed a Goals, Objectives and Investigation (GOI) document. At this town hall, the ROW team will present this document to the community and start a dialog to get feedback regarding the document. The ROW team will also showcase key ocean world measurements and missions that need to be developed further for future planning to explore these ocean worlds.

Young Scientists for Planetary Exploration —
Thursday, 12:00 to 1:15 PM, Waterway 4
This is an open forum for early career members of the planetary science community. We will discuss upcoming opportunities for research and mission involvement, job prospects and networking, and more generally, ways to improve the future of planetary exploration. Although priority will be given to issues concerning younger/early career scientists, this forum is open to all members of the community. Bring your lunch!

Science Opportunities Enabled by Mars Base Camp —

We need your ideas! Given a science laboratory for sample analysis, plus a thousand times higher data bandwidth and an ability to joystick rovers on the surface, what would be the priorities and techniques for scientific exploration of the Red Planet? Join us to help shape the "Mars Base Camp" Concept: The First Human Exploration Mission to Mars.
