ExOSS II 2020

Announcement: January 22, 2021

Because the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect us worldwide, the Experimental Analysis of the Outer Solar System II workshop, originally postponed for 2021, has been canceled. The need to limit social contact remains high, so we hope you can appreciate the steps we are taking to keep the community safe and help prevent further spread of the virus.

We are currently working on rescheduling the workshop for 2022. Notifications will be sent out concerning the rescheduling of the workshop once arrangements have been finalized.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this 2.5-day workshop is to gather and network with those who work specifically in the experimental regime of the outer solar system and share ideas for improving instrumentation in the laboratories and future mission concepts. Specifically, we aim to advance our understanding of the processes that lead to geophysical and atmospheric behaviors and verify the likely mechanisms responsible in a laboratory environment. We also welcome theoretical modelers who would benefit from experimental results.
